Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
- 3 cups apples diced
- 1 qt water
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp walnuts
Instructions
- Place all ingredients (except the walnuts) into a pot and bring to a boil
- Simmer for 5 minutes
- Serve with toasted walnuts
